The sweetness of your final product will depend on the glaze you pretreat your fruit in before dehydrating, also you may decide to add other seasonings to change the taste before the process, others like to just leave natural and not use a glaze. Fruit that has a tendency to brown should still be dipped in a lemon juice/water mixture. Drying time will vary depending on thickness of slices ( 1/8" to 3/8") and brand of machine or using a stove. Some fruit can be placed on trays whole. The fruit is dry when there is no moisture when you cut into it.
* Note : You will notice a "seam" down one side of a peach. If you slice around the diameter of the peach following this line you will be able to pluck the pit right out.
